Honestly I do not.
I have subcribed to the "if I can see, I can hit it" shooting philosophy since I was a kid.
If I wasn't allowed to shoot at it, well then that wasn't my fault, I but I could see it and I was sure I could hit it.
Well I got into long range target style shooting, I realized that having the best possible optics for the task at hand really made a difference in where I could place a round.
Going from 3x9 to 4x12 is going to help, but I don't think it will be a night/day difference at longer ranges.
CAVEAT: Unless you are going from a paper towel tube to a Schmidt & Bender that is.
