I go to Ks. every year to fill my freezer with grain fed whitetail. I'll take my wife or father in law and not much beats their expression after making a clean shot knowing we'll have it on the dinner table soon.

After years of taking my father in law hunting and him never wanting to go to the range, last year I said enough. He literally would shoot a box,yes 20 shells and not hit a thing! The big difference last year was I let him use my range finder ( his vision does not let him estimate range well) and a good pair of bino's, which he always had but rarely used. Old school I guess. Anyway, He was literally driving tacks at the range and did the same in the field. I even let him shoot a few "black" guns att he range which he said he didn't like but his smile said otherwise! Anyway, now when he comes to visit we spend at least 3 hours at the range "having fun".....I know better.... The is no substitute for range time. Thanks guys, great site here !
