Havoc,You should be very happy with the Vortex scope. They are pretty nice optics for the price.
I still prefer the Sightron SIII over the Viper PST scopes,the glass in the Sightron's seems to be better,but the Viper PST's do have more bells & whistles.

First shot was low , barrel warmed up it just gets better . Not to bad for a 16" barrel with cheap PMC 147 gr fmj's
