Casper, I wasn't too impressed with that factory X Mark Pro trigger and replaced it with a Timney a few weeks ago. The way I understood it, reading that recall, the X marks with the grooved trigger shoes aren't affected, just the smooth ones. But it didn't go light enough for me. I set my Timney at 2lbs., but was out shooting it yesterday and will turn it down to 1 3/4 lbs. and see how I like it next time out. I got a H-S Pro 2000 Sendero stock, as it was about the only thing available for my left hand, varmint weight barrel. It has a nice feel to it with the larger palm swell and and soaks up recoil much better than the cheap factory SPS plastic injected one. It is much stiffer and better bedded as well. I have the Nikon 4-16x 42mm M-308 scope. It comes with a ARD filter and a 20 MOA 1 piece mount. I used the mount for an AR-10 I just bought, so I still need to get a good mount for my M700 ( and a detachable mag kit).
