I'm looking into getting an optic for my MP-15-22. Anyone have any recommendations? I don't want a "cheap" one even tho it's just a .22 but would like a decent quality red dot for around $100 and up. Thanks for your help in advance

I have several of the Bushnell Trophy XLT TRS25 red dots. 3 moa dot, 3k battery life and built in mount so you will have to use a 3/4" riser to co-witness. I have used one on an AR and it did hold up. I wanted some magnification so I went to a 1-4x24 scope on my AR.

BZ3- I just picked up a Stg-556 and it had a BSA RD30 mounted on top!!! $50 optic on a $2000 rifle. I paid way less than $2K, just saying it was kinda weird seeing it.

So I promptly bought a MeproLight M21 a couple days later to mount. My MOE is stock, not for long though. I'm going to mount the RD30, get a single point, get a VFG, and......slide fire stock. I'll prob stop there unless I can get the money for a real optic, maybe a CompM2.

I've heard the SF stock is pretty sweet on these things and I can use it on a 5.56 AR as well. You have any exp regarding the MOE and slide fire? What have you done to yours? Frankly mine has been put up for too long, getting that RD30 has renewed my interest.
