I'm shooting at my range , my pasture ,its 300 yards for my longest shot. I want to be able to see a bullet hole at 300 , but I'm limited to about 300 bucks. Is that possible? Thanks for recommendations .
Maybe I should of put this on optics and mounts forum if you want to move it that's fine

yup. i was gonna suggest burris as well.. clear optics for good prices.

bullet holes at 300 yards will be a challenge for even high dollar scopes if the light is not just about perfect. Some days I have problems seeing 30 cal holes at 200 with my Kowa TSN1, an old but very good scope.
