Range Finder/Hunting Scope

I was just wondering if anyone knew of a good range finder up to 800 meters that could give you humidity and some of the other surroundings? Do range finders usually give those things or just range?

Thanks

normally just range.

you can get them with those addons but it greatly increases the price. easier to just get a small humidity/temp sensor and hotglue it to the side of your range finder.

but at the range your looking at, 800m, its not that big a factor. more important will be wind and mirage effects from high power optics. the biggest factors to longrange rifle shooting is learning to judge wind and mirage.

if your going to rely on a laser range finder the hard part will be finding one that can lase a target reliably at that distance for an affordable price. ive got a leupold laser range finder that starts having issue lasing pigs yotes and such around 400+ usually ill lase trees or other objects so ive got known distance to work with

You could go with a mill dot scope to calculate range. Couple a mill dot scope with one of these

Kestrel Pocket Weather Meters with Horus ATrag Software - Nielsen Kellerman

and you would be good to go.
