Quick detach mount
I want to mount a scope on a flat top 1913 rail. Have any of you used a particular system that you would recommend? I don't want to spend an outrageous amount on it but I want something that won't break easily. I have seen some QD rings that were two separate pieces and don't really know how I feel about that, but if anyone has used them I would love to hear from you.

LaRue Tactical makes some of the highest quality mounts available. I am using an LT-104 SPR mount on my dedicated hunting AR in 6.8 SPC topped with a Trijicon 3-9X40 AccuPoint.

I also have an ACOG utilizing an A.R.M.S. mount on my 5.56. It is also high quality and returns to zero well.

There are others, too, but these are the only ones I have direct experience with. Expect to pay for quality.

Hmmmmm....not a lot of response yet.
Here are a couple of brands that come up regularly as highly recommended by other forum members on some other AR boards:

No but I have gone w/ just rings. If I was concerned w/ QD Id go w/ one of the 3 listed due to the true return to zero.

Thank you for asking before you bought instead of coming on here after the fact to cry like many do.

Dude, you have no idea how many times I've let my dad or someone else tell me what I should get before I started asking more than one person.

If they are experienced in the subject for which you're seeking advice then why not.
I've tried skimping on optics and mount and was never happy. Always ended up selling that stuff off for a huge loss.
