I just bought a Mossberg 702 Plinkster for kicks and giggles. I'm not going hunting or do any serious target shooting, probably use it to get my wife, daughter, and grandson, involved in shooting.
The gun has a good set of sights on it but I would like to put an inexpensive scope on it. I'm clueless on low end scopes. I'm looking at a Bushnell or Barska 3-9x32 right now. Both are in the area of $38-$42 from Optics Planet or Midway. Is either good enough or one better than the other for what I'm looking for?
Also, both scopes come with rings, but would it be advisable to to buy a set of see thru rings to use instead? And if so, medium or high?
