Can't remember the exact price

But id go with the Nikon 223 scope. Good glass. Good magnification. Good price

I don't like the BDC 600 reticle. I owned a 3-12 and it is too heavy

Look at the Nikon Monarch 3 in 2-10. A little under $400

Still a little heavy. I prefer less than 15 ounces. What about a Mark AR from Leupold? Around same price point.

You can't go wrong with Leupold.

I have a new Gen III Lucid HD7 coming as soon as they hit Lucids shop , nothing but praise from everyone out there that owns one " lots of research time by myself " . Lifetime warranty AAA battery that lasts several thousands of hrs. Auto brightness so if you transition from bright light to a dim lighted building it will dim its self , this also has a over ride , auto shut off in 2 hrs and NV compatible , if your looking for lighter weight you might check out the new M7 Lucid with the options M7 riser in their accessories

They also carry a very very nice scope , its a little bit heavier than what you want and a tad more money .

I thought so but have read a lot of complaints about their quality not being what it used to be. I am really leaning towards the Mark AR 1.5-4 with the Firedot SPR reticle.

I was in a LGS and was checking this out:

Leupold 1.5-4x20mm Leupold Mark AR Mod 1 Riflescope, FireDot SPR Reticle

It runs $399. There is a $299 version without the FireDot. It is a green reticle in he crosshairs. The fireDot is a cool option it's a hybrid scope . I think. I'm getting this next. It has great reviews.
