The base i ordered came in yesterday so i now have my scope mounted! I probably wont be able to sight in until saturday though. I was thinking 50yds would be a good zero... Any thoughts?

Default sighting in

Glad you finally got everything put together.
Sighting in can be tough. I would suggest to start on your computer first.
Go to Nikonhunting.com, click the Spot On logo, this will take you to the Spot On Ballistic Match Technology Program. Enter all your information here.
It can also tell you where to sight in at 25 yards for a 100 yard zero.
Then you can look and see what distances your circles represent at different scope magnifications. There is also an easy print out for your butt stock for
in field reference.
