If you don't mind a silver scope, take a hard look at this Nitrex by Weaver TR1 scope, which is pretty much a Weaver Grand Slam, made with same Japanese optics and internals by same company. Price is a real bargain, considering Grand Slam version sells for around $370. Warranty is handled by Weaver.
