When a scope has a built in mount there is not a hell of a lot of expertise required. I have only had a few scopes go bad over the last 50 years and NC heads the list. I have never had a Burris, Weaver or other better brand scope go bad. I did have an NC pistol scope hold up amazingly well but that was the exception and it was only on a 22lr.

Yeah mine was a QD mount straight to a rail. Don't know how you can screw that up.
