My wife bought me a Mk III 22/45 a while back and this morning I found the scope mount floating around in a drawer so thought before it gets lost a better mount it to the gun and after doing that I got this strange aurge to get a scope on it now.
The guns main use is as a plinker/target gun when I am at the range and have burned threw all my other ammo and also as a small intruder deterant at the house. I have never shot a pistol with a scope and have no clue what to look for or stay away from so any Idea would be great. But I dont want to spend $500 on a scope for a $300 gun like to keep it between $100-$200.

putting a scope on a pistol makes it very impractical for just about anything other than shooting it off a steady rest.

I would go with a decent red dot.
