Default marlin .22 scope mounts, help?

I have a Marlin model 15yn that is not drilled or tapped, but has two grooves that run down either side of the receiver.

I would like to put a cheap scope on it and I'm certain that these grooves are optics related, but I am unfamiliar with it as i have never owned optics. I do not want to drill it for sentimental reasons, so is there a mount for this type of receiver? Also, what kind of scope would you recommend? I'd like to spend under $50 total seeing as how its only like a $100 rifle to begin with.

I'd post pictures, but my phone won't allow it since the website changed.

Thanks ahead of time.

You need rings like these - http://www.midwayusa.com/product/168443/b-square-1-sport-utility-22-rimfire-and-airgun-rings-medium-matte
Then the 1" scope of your choice
The above rings are just the first ones I seen on the net- just get similar ones

Great scope for the money and it comes with the rings you need.

SWAF is a good source for optics.

Thanks guys, I couldn't have gotten a better response. Maybe after dealing with this one, I'll be at least a little familiar with optics.
