Default magnifier choices

Im debating between 2 magnifiers either a sightmark 3x or a 3x mako. I havent used either of the two but Im really wanting to get a magnifier. I like the sightmark because it has the qd but Im more interested in the quality between the two. I also like the look of the mako but agian its about the quality. I really dont want a high end eotech or aimpoint magnifier because Im really only wanting to spend around $100. So is there anyone out there that has used either or both, please give me your input.

I use the utg 3x magnifier. Quick detatch and fts for under $100. Works great with my eotech.

Not at all. It's adjustable.

It does magnify the reticle a bit. Doesn't show on the camera though.

I have a Burris Trippler on the LaRue pivot mount and I really like it, but the prices have jumped a lot since I bought mine.

Can someone help me out? I have a truglo 2x42 red dot sight I bought to use until I can get a higher end sight. My question is is it possible to run a 3x magnifier with the 2x red dot? Any and all replays are helpful.
Thx and keep shooting

Depends on the optic. If it is a cheapo with paralax I would assume it won't work.
