Default M1 Garand Scope Mounts

Has anyone here ever mounted a scope on an M1 Garand?
Is the off set worth the trouble and did you find it difficult to adjust to?

I think putting a scope on a Garand may be deemed sinful in some cultures. As for me, I would not even think of researching it because of the unforeseen consequence.

Kind of hard to put a scope on a top load and eject rifle. I have never seen one then again there on M14 and it is the same action.

You can put one on a M14 because it uses a detachable mag and the m1 Garand needs a 8 round clip (YES IT'S A CLIP) to load from the top. So that makes it hard to put a scope above the action.

The trick is finding a M1C or M1D to put it on...
