I've read good reviews also. Hope they are right!

Pretty slick. I've never seen one until now. Be sure to post some information after you giv'er a trial run.

It looks ENORMOUS!

Well I took the rifle to the range... The scope is crystal clear. The range finder was quite accurate and easy to use. It is easy to find the recital. Plenty of give even zoomed all the way in. Now as for the rifle and the operator... 8 in groups at 100 yards isn't exactly what I wanted...

ive seen them being used got to use one myself. nice little optic. only thing thats kept me from one is the mounts that nikon uses for it. nikon mounts are the only weakpoint.

8 inch groups may be due to ammo/gun/shooter combo or your mount is loose.

For the trade-off in weight I think I'd rather use a hand-held rangefinder.

My similarly priced Trijicon AccuPoint 3-9X40 weights in at only 12 oz.

The limited reviews from MidwayUSA aren't particularly good....

I think I'll pass.

How do you like the 3-9? I'm debating the Trijicon 3-9 and the 5-20. I use my AR mostly for target and the occasional unlucky coyote. I would like to be as accurate as I can to 200yds. Eyes aren't what they used to be. Can't decide if the 5-20 is overkill.

Thoughts anyone?

Thanks!
