Awesome. Thanks. With every new post to the thread I'm happier with my decision. I can't wait to try it out

I own both , and I would pick the Lucid over the Vortex any day . Whats made the down hill progress with Lucid ?
Lucid still claims US made parts but assembled in China, As far as I know Vortex comes straight out of China . Both are quality pieces in my book for no more than they cost . Both carry a lifetime warranty .

I was directed to this conversation by a friend.

I thought that it may be helpful if I offered access to me directly to answer any and all questions you all may have.

I do not frequent this message board often, so if you want to reach out and get quality information about LUICD or our products, please let me know through e-mail or by calling me directly.

Thank you & Best Regards,

What are you basing your "Down Hill" statement on?

I'm very pleased with my decision to go with the lucid. I dont have much experience with other sights except the aimpoint m2. At nearly half the price I find the hd7 to be of equal quality and much more versatile. I love the auto dim and that it takes AAA batteries. For the price I can't imagine there being a better optic on the market.

Another happy Lucid customer. I've got an HD7 on my S&W M&P Sport and I couldn't be happier with it.

I'm also looking for a rds. My problem is on some of them you can't see the red or green dot during the afternoons. Which ones have the best dot for during bright day light hours?

I own both and I'll take a Lucid over Vortex any day. I would also take it over many other optics that are 2x the price, and even an Aimpoint I had. I think it's a great optic, hold zero, great design, the standard AAA battery is awesome, the light sensitivity is fast. I am going to try the Lucid M7 next, if its anything like my HD, I'll be stoked..........
And if your going to come with a comment on a product, back it up! Not trying to be rude but, you can't just slander And not have supporting evidence.
