If you can't spend anymore that a $150.00 on a scope look at a NC Star. Comes with a life-time warranty. Optics are alright.

Get a Nikon Prostaff 3x-9x-40mm or a Weaver 3x-9x-38mm. Quality optics and accessories from Leupold, Bushnell, Burris, Nikon and more!

It sounds like you have limited experience with the cheapest lines of bushnell like sportview, among their other junk. Now the Bushnell Elite 4200 series ARE good scopes, but their customer service SUCKS! Have you ever tried Leupold, Zeiss, or Swarorski?

He is asking about a scope around $150. You are talking about Leupold Zeiss and Swarorski. This never makes any since to me he is asking about a low cost scope and you are telling him to go out and spend $1000+ on a scope.

For low cost scopes I would look at Mueller optics I know many guys that demand performance from there firearms and they have Mueller scopes on top of them.

Not everyone can drop $1000+ on a scope. Not everyone needs to spend that much money on a scope. If you are going to shoot the rifle 5 to 10 times a year with 70% of them on the range why do you need a Leupold scope?

Try a Bushnell 3x9.. I have 3 of them on my rifles and they all work perfectly.

You NEED to read my ORIGINAL post. In the last 1 I was responding to the poster that claims Bushnell is the "BEST" scopes available, which obviously isn't so.
