As far as the VXII scope goes it is advertised at 1/4 MOA per click of knob. That would mean that 1 click should give you approxmently 1/4" change in elevation or windage at 100 yards and 4 clicks of knob should give you approxmently 1" change in elevation or windage at 100 yards. That being said, it sounds like your scope is adjusting for 1/2 MOA or 1/2" per knob click at 100 yards. In your case 1/2 X 6 = 3.
Was the target at 100 yards when you were sighting in scope?
