buying a scope for my remington 750 woodmaster 308. anyone recommend laser sighting? never sighted a scope before .thought it sounded like a easy way

Don't waste your money on a laser bore sighter.For around $30,you can buy a real graph bore sighting kit,and be able to bore sight any caliber from .17-.50.

Will this give you a option for range like 200 or 300 yards?

No but after u bore sight it then u will need to do a final sight in at what ever distance u want. Bore sighting just gets u close but not dead on

I used a laser bore sight in my AR. It was dirt simple and got me very close at 200.

Just remember that any bore sighter is simply to get you on the paper at 100 yards. You still need to zero with live ammunition.

I will often start out with a laser bore sight then get my final accuracy calculations with the mounted scope that I will be using on that rifle.
