Default Killer deal or scam?

I was browsing Gun Auction, and I came across an Aimpoint T1 and 3x magnifier, both on QD mounts, at$179.
Is this possible? $1200 worth of glass for $179? Is this the best offer in the history of optics, or am I missing something completely?

Aimpoint T1 and 3x on QD

I have not used that site. But with no reserve I would think the seller used his lowest price to start the bid. Does that site have any buyer protection thing like eBay?

It says Aimpoint "style. Cheap knock off. Might mess around with it on a .22 lr, but nothing I'd rely on for anything serious.

That is a scam. The real aim point Micro T-1 doesn't have any writing on top of it. That one does.

As the folks have pointed out- Aimpoint "STYLE

I have used that site for some years- seller has 14 positive feedbacks- 4 from same person.

Rule of thumb- if it looks too good to be true, it is too good to be true. BTW, I have a great watch I am sure you would like. That Rollux would look really impressive on your wrist. cash only- small bills.

The placement of the word "type" threw me off the scent. I read "Aimpoint type T-1" as "Aimpoint (brand) type (model) T-1"

Good thing I asked for a second set of eyes...

I have a Aimpoint like that...not good on a .22lr. The turrets quit working while trying to dial it in. The ACOG one though is good...I have it on my AR and it work wonderful.
