Has anyone got any additional info on this?

It's currently in a pre-order phase. The app shows up in search on the app store but is not available. I questioned how the purchase would work as you would be buying both the mount and app but, so far, they haven't responded.
Looks like it might be a fun gizmo for the price but I'm curious how it will ultimately work. Using the camera lens on the iphone will have some parallax issues and recoil will undoubtedly be a concern.

That is the stupidest thing I have ever seen.

You must have never been to Washington DC:)

Perhaps up to 50 yds this would work...
More of a novelty, though.
The record feature would be cool!

I would test one if provided for free;)

I would slap some one that showed up to deer camp or the dog town with that crap. It might be helpful if you are handicapped.

Saw this on Cutlerylover's youtube page, seems very stupid and the only thing that *MAY* be useful is the fact that you can see around corners by flipping the phone. What happens when this fails in the field? That is what I only trust pure IRON sights. And if those fail, I will throw my gun down and surrender (not really)

Doesn't everybody have a case on their iPhone?

Suppose you could watch Netflix in between shots.

It has a certain cool factor.. like "that's cool, what's on tv"

Hi. I'm with Inteliscope. We make the rifle mounts for smartphones. We have just completed initial re-design of our mount to integrate the Seek XR Thermal Imaging Camera. I've attached a couple design renderings. We are working on integrating Seek's SDK into our app so that our reticles and heads-up info will be interlaced with the thermal image--this will allow the shooter to switch from daytime to nighttime use and still have the rifle sighted in. This total solution (including the camera) will be under $500. We expect to have this ready for the market in a couple months. We'd be interested in feedback from folks on this forum.

Very novel idea.

What kind of (actual) recoil testing has it held up to and for how many rounds?

Is the sight adjustable to the rifle barrels's POI or is it preset to a list of calibers/bullet weights that should work?

Why a price of $500? Is this an actual phone that can be used to make calls when done shooting?

Is it video capable when doing the actual hunt----showing a 1st person perspective and how the game animal was shot, for those bragging rights?

What kind of drop testing has been done to show durability and reshot to show POI after drop test?

Finally, what kind of warranty?

Nevermind. I went to website. I DON'T OWN A SMARTPHONE!!!
