My AR has a 1-4x24 scope sighted 2" high at 100 yards. No elevation adjustment needed on a man sized target out to 300 yards. You need more rifle if you are shooting past that.

One question.
If i zero my rifle on 100 yards will it still hit 50 yards? Or miss it by a few inches?

You need to spend some time browsing YouTube. There are hundreds of videos on all the aspects of scope usage, from the very basic to highly advanced VLD shooting. You'll spend hours there, I know I did. I'm still learning as well.

And keep the iron sights. Scopes can be easily damaged.

You'll be low at 50 yards. Look at the height of your scope compared to your bore. That is quite high - probably close to 3". You'll be an inch +/- low at 50 yards.

If you're using M855 Ball, sight it for 50 yards, and it will be slightly high ar 100 and right on at 200.

I use mostly M193 Ball and sight dead on at 100. That gives me a "battle sight" from the muzzle to 300.

The best answer you can actually give yourself is by training with aforementioned firearm. Get out and shoot that thing and build your confidence. Im pretty sure after shooting a few hundred rounds you wont have the need to ask anyone what YOUR weapon will do. Get comfortable and multiple different ranges and know the dope for ur scope....
