I'm looking for a mounting system to mount a 1" 3-9x32 scope to my m&p 15-22. I don't want to spend over 50.00 since its going on a 22. What should I get. I have high weaver rings now but its too low. I am going nuts trying to find a mount. Here's my setup now. I also don't like how the rings look on it. Seems like they're more for a hunting rifle.

Your as bad as me 3x9 on all my 22s.

Thats a lie my sr22 has a cheap quick reflex red dot and a lazer

You need a riser, extra high rings or a mount designed for the AR15. The ergonomics are the same.

You could add a 'picatinny rail riser' to get it up another half an inch or so, but for 50 dollars its hard to get an entirely new mount that isnt another set of rings, and holds its zero

I opted for an expensive scope mount
