One of the bigger issues with micro handgun reflex sights is it takes a lot of work and training to get fast with the initial pickup of the reticle. The eyebox of these type of sights are very small.

I've got a rmr from trijicon on my fnx and I'm still working at getting fast on picking up the reticle after the the draw.

It does take some time to get fast, but here's a tip. Use the eye box as a ghost ring rear sight and look for your front sight just like with open sights. You'll be surprised as how fast you can start picking up the reticle.

I would recommend the Ruger MKIII with the 6-3/4" bull or "slab-side"

barrel to anyone. The Nambu-style slide lends itself to a solid scope

mount on the body of the receiver. Don't go insane with the scope cost,

put your money into the stainless steel model MKII or MK III, instead.

The 22/45 is pretty much the same, if you prefer a Luger-style

grip angle.

What fun, tack-driving at 50 yards, and plinking at 75 to 100 yards.

WOC likes this setup, too.
I love my Ruger MK III but dislike the 22/45 because of the magazine design. I think you mean that the MK II's & III's are the Luger-style grip angle and the 22/45 is the 1911 grip angle, hence the name.

That's what I've been doing. At close range sd distance it seems it would be damn effective like that, as the goblin would fill the sight. I work on it every nite. Only had it for about a week and a half.

There is nothing faster on a handgun than good irons. I only put the red dot on for slowfire. And a scope for bullseye at, like, 25 yds.
