My buddy has a green and below 40 deg you might as well toss it in the trash , it wont run effeciently in the cold , its hard to see , doesnt have the distance and burns batteries because of all this . it does however work better in bright daylight , the red cant be seen at all but the green is visible at 75 yards in daylight .
they both have their advantages and disadvantages . the reds are smaller , lighter and run more effecient and use 10X less power consumption
