Several of the gents I shoot with at range we're members purchased a Weaver Classis Extreme from Natchez shortly after they introduced them with their discounted prices.

All three are fairly happy with them and mind you, they are pretty picky when it comes to scopes. One of them did have a problem out of the box with his Extreme, but it was quickly replaced with a new one. Replacement scope works fine. Actually, only gripe about the Extreme was its eye relief being too long. Couple of its owners had to mount the scope as far forward as it could go in the rings to use it.

They do have very long eye relief, but it's not too long if you use a 1pc Weaver style rail mount. I can see where someone could have problems if mounting in a 2pc mount set-up.
These scopes have very good optics in them, and I have enjoyed both of the 6-24x50 scopes I purchased.
People that look thru them at the range are always surprised at the clarity of the glass. They track well, and always keep zero.I'm pretty hard on turning turrets shooting at different ranges often, and they have always been dead on when returned to my zero.
I'm used to paying a lot more for good glass, and was glad to find these scopes were up to the quality that I'm used to using on my rifles.

Thanks a lot for the heads up and the info, Mr. Tex!

I just ordered a 1.5-4.5, and an 8-32. They both offer advantages over the Leupold VX-2 and Weaver T-series I was considering to cover those magnification ranges.

If you were local, I would buy you a glass of fine Irish whiskey. Unfortunately, you are too far away, so I can't do that. But take heart, I will buy the Irish anyway, and toast you while I drink it myself!

Thanks for the detail, as I find it very useful.

That's a good deal on a quality scope.

Got my scope in today, and I'm happy with it thus far. I hope to get out and in the next couple of weeks and see how it prefroms. Until then here are some pics...
