Default Good red dot for pistol

Hi all was wondering if I could get some input for a decent red dot for my mark iii that I recently just purchased. I am new to the pistol shooting game but know that I truly want to place a red dot on it. I am a disabled shooter and have a hard time with open sites. Any input would greatly be appreciated!

I've heard good stuff about the Trijicon RMR on pistols. Let us know how it goes, I and many others here have Mk IIIs. They are a blast, if only I could find .22lr!

I have a JPoint on my Glock G22. It was about $160 installed. I didn't want a sight that cost more than the gun. I use it for home defense. The only problem with it is that I can 't get it to co-witness with the iron sights unless I change them too. Otherwise, well satisfied.
