F-class and such
Ive been reading a few articles here lately mostly about practical competitions like f-class and other competitions where a shooter hikes and finds multiple targets at multiple long ranges and only has a few minutes to shoot them.
I was reading about the rifles these guys are building and using, mostly the 260 rem which seems like a great choice.
My question is why do some of these guys choose to top their rifles with high dollar glass in variables like 4-16, it seems like they dont use anything capable of over 20x. Is there some benefit to this? why such low power when some of these targets are out to 1000 yards?
