Since I am not rolling in dough a rifle scope in the $250 range should work for me! LOL

Thanks...still be interesting to get a first hand look. I did look through Swarovski spotting scope side by side with a Bushnell in Alaska this summer. They were set up to spot mountain goats about 1.5 miles away on a rock cliff. The Swarovski was far better for brightness and clarity.

There are tons of $250 scopes that are perfect for hunting. Most hunting scopes only get adjusted 1 a year if that.

Long range scopes for shooting say F-Class get adjusted all day long. We need to be able to dial in 10 minutes of elevation and 20 minutes of windage and we need it to come right back to zero when we turn it back.

Looks like if I ever get back into needy a rifle scope again $250 bucks and under should do nicely just like it did many years ago.

With a Bushnell, you can tell there is a man on the other side of the lake.

With a Leupold, you can tell he's smoking a cigartette.

With a Schidmt & Binder, you can tell what brand.

So the question you have to ask yourself is;
Do you want to pay for MOM (minute of man), MOC (minute of cigarette), or MOL (minute of logo)?

I think he was referring to the misspelling OR maybe a " Schidmt & Binder" is a Chinese knockoff you can get online

Unfortunately, some of us have reached an age where arthritis in our hands doesn't allow us to type as accurately as we did in past years.

If you live long enough, you'll get there.
