It looks damn good. No fade away at the bottom, top or side of glass but the magnifier makes the reticle blurry as hell

I used to have the Sight Mark sight and 3x magnifier on my AR. Still have the magnifier actually, but it's just sitting around. The sight was good for awhile but it was hard as hell to get zero'd and after about 500 rounds it started to lose that zero. The magnifier was decent though. I'd save for the EoTech and try the sight mark magnifier

Yes, it is!

On my last 308 I had a NcStar scope and out shot every one of my friends and their high dollar scopes.
I thought NcStar optics were made for airsoft stuff?

Well, the mil spec Eotechs are not that much different from the off the shelf models. Your water rating goes to 66 feet and some other small tweaks. But other than that it's very similar products. I will say that Eotechs are robust but not as reliable as other more simplistic designs. They will work with the front glass shattered and take a beating and survive for sure. But shorter battery life and some minor quality issues kinda tarnish the sight as a whole

It really depends, I kind of like aim point because it's a simple design at times and really rugged. But the field of vision is cut down in my opinion by the round tube design. The eotech has a much more natural field of vision for nabbing targets fast. For me on an AR platform I would probably go with a exps 2-2 if I was running a magnifier. If not I would just get an 512, no matter how ugly they look
