there is a thread about BUIS systems, and troy was the loser, in fact magpul the cheapest was the outright winner. About the thread I have a 517 on my personal AR and like it. not love it but it serves it's purpose. good sight, both eyes open, never had it wash out in sunlight, AA batteries, lots of rail space but I have a full flat upper and rail, rock solid and easy to keep zero. Not a big fan of the how grainy the recticule is but that is a small complaint. good company solid product reasonably priced. go for the 517 instead of 512 if you do use a back up iron sight, its easier.

Just my thought, indeed. The 517 is on my list for a new build I have on the drawing board. Since it will be riding the rail right in front of a folded BUIS, there won't be much room for fingers to actuate the buttons. For just a little extra scratch I'd go for the 517. 516 is the same, but CR123's.
It is unclear on the website, but I am assuming that the smaller ones, the XPS2, has rear buttons instead of side buttons. The website photo is the right side of the sight, so it is unclear.

Thanks for all of the input guys, and sorry for the confusion about my question. I was asking if the reticle is adjustable for windage and elevation, couldn't find anything online about it

yes it can be adjusted for windage and elevation so it can be zero'd to any gun you can mount it on.

Am I the only one that's never seen a modern scope without adjustments?

Guess it was kind of a stupid question but I research and ask a lot of questions before I make high dollar purchases. I'm not very familar with the Eotech optics and wanted to make sure.

Questions are good brother, not a thing wrong with asking. We all have questions every once in a while :-)

It's better to look stupid asking a question than being stoopud by making a mistake.
