Which scope base works best?

I have both rimfire calibers and magnum.

I forget the exact number but the 1 piece Weaver base works just fine and is less than 10$. I just looked and it's the Weaver #92A-6.49 @ midway.

Just curious if the three ring set is any better than a good quality two ring set.
