Default Conetrol rings and bases

I rarely hear of anyone that uses Conetrol rings/bases. Is there something I missed about these. I know there pricey,I bought mine many years ago and always loved that sleek look they have.

I love the sleek lines of them. But they can be finicky, and fragile. Had them on a couple of my Mausers, but changed them out.

I prefer good, solid Picatinny mounts and rings these days.
