I had a center point, payed like 40 for it a few years ago. It worked well on a mini 14, ar, and 22, until I put it on a 870 police. 3 shots and shattered the glass. I think they would be fine on a small caliber but they do not handle recoil that well! I'd buy another if I were to put it on a small carbine like an ar or 22, but if the weapon has any recoil, the scope will pay for it!

I bought a center point for my .22 marlin 60. I had several problems with it. Me and a few friends all tried getting it focussed but as soon as the sight starting clearing up it ran out of adjustment. I had to re zero it in every other time I shot it. I believe that was more a fault with the rings included with the scope. The worst part was that your eye had to be perfectly placed to see through the scope. Just a slight move of your head would throw off the picture.
