Default Bushnell Holosight Gen 1 Help

As the subject line suggests, I would like some help with information on a Bushnell Holosight that was attached to a Target Model Ruger MkII Slabside pistol that I bought. I cannot seem to locate any user manuals for it since it is an older model.

In particular, I would like information on the button that's forward of the power button on the right side of the housing. Everything else is self explanitory. The button in question looks like a battery with a "+" and "-". However when I depress it, I do not notice any kind of change.

I'm considering using this on my M4.. Any help would be greatly appreciated..

Thanks in advance

Well this has pretty much been a one man show kinda thread but for anyone who's interested in knowing, the button is for checking battery strength. Push and hold a few seconds and if the display flashes? then your battery is getting low and needs replacement.

Info provided from folks on my other forum (gunboards.com)
