Default Bushnell 3200

I'm thinking about buying the Bushnell 3200 4-12x40 AO for an old Savage 110 in 7mm Rem Mag that I have. Reason for the change is the current 4x Bausch & Lomb scope has fine crosshairs, and I keep losing them when trying to place it on target. Also 4x is not that much magnification when I want to shoot targets at 200 yards. I recently saw Cabela’s marked the price down so that's giving me an incentive.

Reason for the post is that my knowledge on optics and mounting is minimal so just want to be sure I'm making a good decision.

I have two Bushnell 3200 5x15 50 MM scopes. I like them. Good clarity, Hold up to 7mm Rem Mag recoil. You can also find them reduced on Natchez Shooter Supply website.
