Default Bushnell 1x28 Red Dot Scope

Hi guys,

yesterday I picked up my Anschütz semi auto .22 rifle and mounted a Bushnell 1x28 Red Dot on it (i got that for free from a friend wo never used it before).
I tried to zero it in on 50m, but I didn`t manage to do it. From 40 round, I only managed to get three on the paper target. So I took it off and tested the accurace with the mounted shights on 50m and that was o.k.

Does anybody have a tipp for me, how to setup and zero in the Red Dot?

Since the mountingrings are made for a 21mm rail, I got a block mount, that fots the 11mm mounting rail on the rifle.

It could be, that mount I got is to high, but I should still be able to at least hit the target.

Can you start out closer to the target and work your way out to 50m? You could also try a larger piece of cardboard backing to see where you are hitting.

Since the target is on a rail system, it`s kind of hard getting closer, unfortunately.

But I will see, what I can do tomorrow.

I got it setup yesterday.

The problem was, that I had it a airrifle setup for 10m and didn`t zero it before putting it on the .22

Works pretty fine now.
