Anyone have any experience with these? I'm researching a replacement scope for by FNAR. It's a sub MOA shooter at .308 caliber and I have a little Leupold 1-3X red dot Mk 4 CQ/T. The 1 MOA dot is too big for mid-range shooting (over 500 yards). Sooo some feedback on the Burris Six X would be greatly appreciated.
Give a man a match and he'll be warm for a few seconds. Light him on FIRE and he'll be warm for the rest of his life!
I don't know anything a bout this particular Burris, but I do have two Burris TAC30 4.5X14 scopes on two of my M1As and so far they have held up well. I have had no problem with them losing zero. I like the thick black reticle especially for hunting in timber.
While I don't have experience with that exact model, it should perform as well as other higher end Burris offerings which is very well. I have a Burris 4.5x-14x on my 300 Win Mag that I used to take my elk with.
