Hey mods if this in the wrong section please move it. I have been wanting to get a boresighter for a while but don't know if laser is Better than the one with the grid that goes on the end. I want to keep it within a reasonable price range...something under 50 bucks. Anything at all from you guys is good to know. Also I want to have a universal one.

Centerpoint has one at Walmart that's pretty good in that range. They also have one by bushnell I think.

Yea I've seen those and have almost gotten one a few times now including yesterday lol. It's good to hear something good about it.

I can on mine. Mines green though and was a WHOLE lot more than what he can afford

Which ever u choose will work great well alot better that the ol look through the barrel an liine up the xhairs that way, I have a old leuopld grid an can get them nearly perfect, but I have used it 25 yrs

Lazers work well in most cases to the 25 yard target. The point of the lazer dot or grid is to "Get it on the Paper". The Grid type has the advantage of allowing the cross wires to be aligned to a horizon. When shooting over longer angles of range the "Canting" of cross wires can cost you hits.
