My Marlin XS7 in 308 wears a Redfield Revolution 3-9x40 with Accu-Range reticle. I love this reticle as it's not very busy and gets you on target very quickly. Never had to take a "long shot" to test the 400 and 500 yard markings. It gathers light very well and is low profile for a scope of this size.
