If you are going to keep shots at 50 yards or less then get a quality rimfire scope. If you are going to stretch it out to 100 yards then a quality centerfire scope with an adjustable obj or side focus will do you good.

Me I would lean towards the Weaver scopes below.

Weaver
Weaver Classic Rimfire w/Adjustable Objective/Dual-X Reticle & Matte Finish

or Nikon
Nikon Buckmaster Riflescope w/Bullet Drop Compensator Reticle & Matte Finish

the Nikon has a bullet drop compensator. Could come in handy on another rifle or swappin 22 rounds from hollow points or from short to LR or ??

this bushnell has a 6" eye relief which is cool and it's well priced at $78.oo

The Nikon Pro Staff is an excellent scope for around $130.

I use the Center Point 4-14X40 on several rimfire rifles & have good luck with them.
