apply for an amazon visa card and you automatically get from 30 to at least 50 (thats what I got) when I applied to get a card on a deal for an eotech 517. because of my good credit rating, they gave me 50 dollars of free amazon money to put towards any purchase. A store was selling the eotech for 295 dollars, new last year, I applied as was told on a websight called slickguns, and got the 50 dollars for applying for the visa and put it on the eotech, which then brought the price down to 245 dollars, That is 100 dollars less than I ever saw them sell back then.

And once u apply, you dont have to keep the card, just cut it up, and wah lah, you just gave yourself 30 to 50 (or more) dollars for free.

Trust me, I know about shoppin'

Shop used. I have an old Redfield Accutrac that I picked up used for under s hundred bucks. It has range finding and bullet drop out to 600 yds. But you can stretch it out to 1000 if you learn your drops and how to use the other parts of your crosshairs, duplex bars as hold over points

SWFA has a used scope section on their website where they close out cosmetic blemished and demo scopes.

Nikon, Redfield, and Burris scopes offer good glass for the money and some of the demo scopes can be had at good prices.

Also older Simmons scopes that were made in Japan were pretty high quality, before they shifted manufacture to China.

i would haunt gunshows and pawn shops looking for old used weavers made in el paso. older 1980's redfields are pretty decent.

ive got a el paso weaver 3.5x fixed power german #1 reticle ive used on my 458winmag for 20 years without losing zero. they made some damn tough optics back then. the new weavers are pretty shtty
