I have several Barska scopes. I know they are supposed to be cheap low quality scopes and the general consensus here and on other forums is to avoid them. But, my experience has been pretty good. So far, they do what they are supposed to do. No fogging, stays clear, doesn't change POI, holds it's adjustment. I have not taken them out into harsh conditions as I only range shoot in nice weather, but so far, I would not hesitate to do so. I think they are a lot of scope for the money.

Not familiar with particular Barska model you asked about. Barska is not a brand I recommend. However, have owned several different model Barskas for a few years now. All mounted on mid recoil centerfire rifles. Have no complaints about mine. Optics are decent in them, just fine for my paper shooting at range. Adjustments for windage/elevation function OK. Mind you, they are on rifles I don't shoot much, so really can't comment on their durability and etc.

The facts are that the economy scopes of today are OK. They are much better than the High End scopes of 30 years ago.

i have never set out to buy a Barska scope, but have bought a couple of used rifles that had them mounted. i have seen better scopes, but as of right now, they are still working pretty good and are clear and hold their zero. until they break or malfunction, i will keep right on using them. i will usually move them to various project rifles and use them until i upgrade to a higher quality. so they get used with different recoiling rifles. one has been used for about two years and the other about four.
