Does it have the slide to side mount? That's my main concern for failure.

Yup. It will slide out and lock 45 degrees to where it was. Works decent

Primary arms makes a nice 3X long eye relief magnifier but they are out of stock now

My two cents:
I've bought crap from s.g. and got pi$$#@ off. The sole on the boots literally broke. An oil lamp leaked colored oil all over a walnut chest I made. Called them twice " replacement in the mail!"- my a$$! They get no more of my money. I've heard stories from other people, too.

So I should look elsewhere for the setup then?

I don't know anything about that product. I've heard theories that they buy seconds and refurbished products and sell as new. This is illegal, but how many businesses do illegal things? What I bought was cheap Chinese landfill fodder, which I no longer do. I'm not going to directly answer your question, so you can't hold it against me either way

Fair enough. If I go through them I'll consider it a gamble. It's gonna be a bit anyway I intend to hit the gun show next month and stock up on ammo first.
