Anyone Collect Scopes?
I am collecting various Weaver vintage scopes. It is becoming a pretty interesting hobby. And, you can even use them on your rifles if you so desire.

ive got a few. 4 nikons a couple nightforce couple of vortex aimpoint some trijicon a nice old el paso weaver with the german post reticle but it needs a good servicing as my nephew unscrewed the eyepiece and let the regular air in :(
i like the older el paso weavers but ones in decent shape are hard to find here as most i see at gunshows are beat to hell. i want to add some more fixed power in the 2-4x range to the safe as they are just great great scopes. my weaver held zero for nearly two decades of use on my winchester model 70 african in 458winmag. |
I have several. Most my long guns all have one.

How about the old weatherby scopes?
I am pretty sure I also have an old Weaver in the box also, it must be hiding in the corner of my safe |
Unfortunately all the scopes I want are pretty expensive... :(
It seems military scopes cost more than the gun their for... I wish I had the scope for my Weatherby MK.XXII, But I cant bring myself to spend $300 for a .22 scope.. |

I have a Weatherby 4X scope on an old model 70, .375 H&H. The scope was purchased new by my father in 1954. Still works as well as it did back then!:D
Also have a Weaver K-4 purchased the same year. It's mounted on a side mount on an old Krag-Jorgensen .30-40 cavalry carbine. |
