Aimpoint T-1 mount to use with a Colt LE 901
 

I have a colt LE 901. I need some advice on which mount to get with an Aimpoint T-1. I don't care for the gg&g QD. Too bulky. What's the best mount to get and more importantly, what is the best height to use with an LE 901?

A few parameters that might help narrow it down:

(1) a QD mount
(2) lightweight as possible
(3) can hold zero
(4) will last/quality craftsmanship

I have not purchased the T1 and mount. If you know of a seller with a good combo price, I'm interested.

Look at the Aimpoint PRO. Comes with mount. Best value Aimpoint RDS.

I looked at the PRO. I like the low weight and small profile of the T1. I'm not as concerned about value. Now I need to figure out what the correct height should be. I've heard that the colt le901 and other AR style .308s have a higher rail than an AR-15 so the mounts do not line up the same. May not be accurate. Also I need to decide on absolute cowitness or lower 1/3rd. And what works on an le901.

If anyone has a 901 and a T1, I would appreciate learning what mount worked for you and why.
