Default Advice on Laser mount

I have done some research and have looked at several brands online.

I am looking for something that wont be over 250 dollars and will be reliable and not fly off of the rail. I will be mounting it to my Sig P226.

I have a Streamlight TLR-2 light/laser combo and it is on one of my railed guns sometimes. It was on my XD .45 and it wasn't bothered by the recoil at all...

Jeez, I don't know. I'm sure the specs are somewhere on Google.

(It took 4 seconds on Google to find out it weighs 4.72 oz)

If you hang anything on the nose of a gun it's going to change the balance. Depends on whether you want to trade the weight for the ability to have a light/laser. There are also very small lasers available that weigh next to nothing...

I am very interested in the lasermax universal rail mounted laser. It looks to be what I am after.

Also my local gunshop just got a few sig 522's in today. I stood and drooled. Hopefully I can talk the wife into letting me get this rifle!!
